This is an introductory course on category theory. The topics include basic concepts such as categories, functors, natural transformations, limits, colimits and adjoint functors. The course does not assume much mathematical knowledge, but being acquainted with a few mathematical structures (such as groups, vector spaces or topological spaces) and structure preserving maps, is helpful.
